My name is Jamie*. I'm a 59 (soon to be 60) year old American living on the Gold Coast of Australia since 1974. Beautiful place to live one day and Perfect the next.
I first got involved playing games sicne I can remember.
Computer-wise was in the latish 80's. A frined of mine worked in a NEW type of store back then that sold COMPUTERS and computer softward (floppies... remember?). He loaned me the game called DOCTOR WHO. It was all typing, black and wite, no graphics whatsoever. By asking the game (DOS) questions you rallied on to the next step.... Ill never forget the main characters name.... FORD.
I brought my Finance Computer home every night, set it up and played till me eyes were bloodshot... slept for a full 2 hours and then went to work, reset the computer back up and did the same that night.... took it home!
Aftera Friday (all night), a Saturday (catnaps) and sunday morning sitting at the dining room table my wife woke up and said if I didnt turn that bloody computer RIGHT THEN she was leaving me and would Divorce me! HAHAHAHA
I turned it off.
I love game with great graphics.... I'm involved in WoW... I have a couple of characters in LVL77 at Proudmore. I mentioned to a friend (the one that originally got me addicted to WoW) that Im in a guild but theres NEVER anyone on except me at the times I play. He suggested this site and ToG.
I'd love to learn RAIDING, DUNGEON, ETC and he said this would be the place to be.
