Crotonhurst Application
Hi there,
I'm looking to play World of Warcraft - Alliance Faction on Proudmoore. I've dabbled in Team Fortress 2 and Warhammer Online but it's WoW that I keep coming back to. Like many of the folks here my gaming pedigree goes back to when I first got an Atari 2600 (although not the wood paneled one). Missile command and asteroids (a movie!? I think not!) were the order of the day. Commodore 64 saw paperboy and Double Dragon get played for hours on end. I've played games and/or owned a host of consoles throughout the years and currently have a 360 and a Wii. I've also been playing pen and paper rpgs for almost 20 years now. Starting with AD&D 2nd edition and going through to 3rd edition, Shadowrun, Cyberpunk 2020, Rolemaster and Earthdawn to name a few. Currently I am playing Warhammer fantasy roleplay, which I love the gritty feel of. I'd like to join TOG because I'm tired of ending up in guilds where teenage tantrums are a regular occurrence at raid time. I'm 30 years old and I work as a Java Development Team Lead in Melbourne Australia. I am a voracious reader and Robin Hobb and Jennifer Fallon are two of my favourite fantasy authors.
