Default TOG Application

Greetings,

My name is Patrick, I'm 38, divorced and a US Army Veteran '90 to '94. I have been involved in gaming since the old Atari 2600 and currently play mostly FPS and MMO games.I'm Beta Testing several games which I can't talk about due to NDA constraints but the "live" games I'm involved in are Perfect World and Operation 7 with several single player games.

I TRY to get involved in Guilds/Clans in games, but it's difficult to find one that suits me, maybe I'm just too old and cranky, but hearing about what anime show is cool, or any number of what interests the younger members just doesn't do much for me. I enjoy Quantum Mechanics, sciences in general, literature, firearms, military history etc. and those topics seldom come up I think in part due to the age differences. Older people seem to have more "weighty" concerns and I just generally enjoy their company more.

Thank you for your consideration and time,

Patrick

Oh no you don't Sassy, I was one of those people that got sucked into EQ1 back when it first came out. It was the first MMO I'd ever tried, and I spent years on that game, STILL have nightmares about the Monk Treant Fist quest after spending 110 hours trying to get the last component for it. To be honest though, I have to say that game gave me many hours of enjoyment and brought me back to my childhood playing D&D with my friends. We still have the ORIGINAL pamphlets by Gygax, back before there were official books and such.

Well then you'll LOVE EQII! Monks are a blast and the folks in the division are some of the best in TOG!
