[DONE] Introduction (aka How do).

Well hello there, (If you're nosey enough to be reading this)...

I spotted your TOG chatter while browsing the Champions Online forum and wading through the whinges about patching... So I came to investigate, and ended up signing up...

Past history? Well, I've been there since the days of the ZX81 (Had one with the 16k wobbly ram pack!), and remember such gems as the Jupiter Ace, the Dragon, and the Commodore PET... You get the picture... I'm old.. (Turn 40 next month *cry*). My progression was ZX81 - ZX Spectrum +2, Amiga A500, Amiga A1200, Pentium 75, MMX 233, then a couple of Athlons *mumble*....

Current rig is an 920 D-Step chip, 6GB RAM, GTX295 etc etc... So I take my gaming seriously, and have spent far too much money on my system according to my better half..

I currently dabble with Everquest 2, Call of Duty Modern Warfare, Call of Duty World at War, a bit of Hearts of Iron, some Civ IV, erm... oh, and just pre-ordered Champions Online to see how that will pan out. (Also thinking about getting ARMA II, any recommendations?)

I do have a dark past, I did used to pen and paper RPG a lot, sadly not so much anymore as I'm not still living in the Midlands... but if anyone in the NW of England roleplays and they need a spare player, do pm me...

I decided to join TOG as I'm interested in gaming with like minded folk, who can hold a conversation that contains multi-syllabic words... Just want a pool of players I can play with who have a sense of humour.

Hmm think that's it for war n peace..
