Hello folks;

I'm dusting off the old gaming skills.

Like a lot of people, I started playing the original Atari and D&D back in the late 70's. When computers came along and one friend got a Commador-64 and another an Apple, the computer gaming began. I fondly remember spending hours and hours playing the original Ultima.

In the late 80's and 90's I really got into gaming and used to spend weekend after weekend, sometimes gaming the entire weekend. This was mainly playing Avalon Hill type games since a couple friends had more games than the local gaming store.

I played some online games around 1992, text based and I can't even remember the name. The first real MMORPG I played was Dark Age of Camelot around 2000,2001. When I quite that in about 2003 I hung up the gaming and haven't ventured forth since until now.

I was looking to get back into gaming and stumbled upon Aion.. I bought the game the other day and in researching on Aion, I came across TOG.

I like the whole approach to gaming that I read about TOG.
I miss the old gaming group from the 80's and 90's and this seemed to have a similar approach / attitude.

and I CAN'T WAIT FOR THE AION LAUNCH !!! it will be fun to game again though I have a ton to learn. These new gaming interfaces and controls have really changed since 2002, at least it looks that way.
