Probably a few of us Wow-Aion jumpers appearing at the moment.
I've been playing wow for a few years. My wife jumped in shortly after I started. We've been through the whole wow spin cycle (Casual/Hardcore raiding, guild joining/leaving/implosions, Alt-itis, burnout, xpac fever...etc, etc.)
I played Eve for a while before Wow. Enjoyed it greatly but didn't know anyone else playing and peeps are a bit cagey in Eve, for good reasons.
So I'm really looking forward to Aion. However I don't want a repeat of Eve where I get as far as I can without a corp/legion. I also appreciate that with my knowledge of Aion being insignificant, that being in a mature legion will greatly help when it comes to asking the newbie questions
That’s when I discovered your post in Aion Source. So I wandered on over to register.
I am a casual/wanna be hardcore player. Family/Full time job makes that difficult. But when I win lotto, I'll never be offline again.
If Aion doesn't work out though, I like the idea of being able to dust off the old Wow key and perhaps rolling a new char on one of TOG's servers.
Now I'm supposed to tell you something about myself... Well I'm an older IT Nerd from sunny Queensland, Australia. I'm usually active in forums though quiet on Vent (though that may be ingrained into me from former raid leaders yelling STFU into the mic

). I like working around the house, though my wife will beg to differ. Prefer to spend my free time there then going away.
So hope to get to know some of you better in forum and in game.
Cheers,
Staid.
