Hi

I'm looking to join TOG. I have an interest in playing games such as EQ and D&D online but haven't really done much about since a bad experience with the 14 year olds playing Meridian 51. I play some FPS games but really enjoy games such as Oblivion, Fallout 3, Baldur's Gate and the Icewind series. I also have all of the Sims series when I don't feel like killing things.

I began by playing pen and paper D&D, Aftermath and variations on the two in the early '80's and gradually moved across to the CRPG genre over the past 15 years. I only have access to a PC for gaming. I haven't played pen and paper for over 20 years and miss it as it allowed more imagination to be used.

I want to join because it has been fun playing Fallout 3 with a friend and discussing each move at work and if there are more people to do this with, I can only see it being more fun.

I live near Lake Macquarie in NSW. I play as often as I can both work permitting and wife permitting. Both of them keep finding more jobs for me to do.

Hope this helps decide the people making the decision on full membership.

Welcome aboard mate, good to see you made it(Kara said you'd sent pm ). You'll find TOG a great to place to hang out ( and lots who played D&D back in the day). If you ever feel like trying out a FPS game, Day of Defeat is a great to place start .
