Membership Application
Good evening,
as requested, a little info about myself and my gaming habits. I never owned any old consoles while growing up, and only really came into contact with gaming when I went to university and met my wife, who had only just returned from Japan with a shiny hunk of plastic called an xbox. Once I picked up the pad and played my first Halo level, I was hooked. I have since focused on xbox, 360, and wii games, prefering FPS such as the Tom Clancy series, Halo, Lost Planet, Army of Two etc. Several years ago I bought World of Warcraft, recommended by a friend and played that for about 4 years (as well as trying Warhammer online, Everquest and guild wars) before boredom set in and I went back to playing consoles. I am currently awaiting the release of Aion, which is where I saw TOG "advertised." The main appeal for me in MMOs is the interaction with other people. It was why I really enjoyed WoW (I was in a great guild) and why I never got going in any of the other MMOs. I am hoping to join a TOG legion in Aion and thoroughly enjoy the company of other gamers. I think thats about it gaming wise, I am married and work as a teacher. My wife is also a gamer and prefers RPGs (think Mass Effect, Morrowind, Sims type games) but will also be playing Aion.
