Hi there.

Required Info:

1. Games you are currently playing or wish to play with TOG

I would like to play Aion with you guys, noticing that you are following up on this one, and am looking for a mature community to enjoy the journey with.

2. Information about yourself

I'm 25 years old, recently bought a house with my other half (prices brilliantly low at the time and still are, but boy did we have to wack down a decent sized deposit!), and in a fairly demanding job although generally make it home before 7 pm, Monday to Friday. I come from a gaming family, the majority of whom are reluctant to leave their various games/RLs/MMOs to try Aion.

3. Information about your gaming history (i.e. first gaming console, or pen and paper game, etc)

First console owned was the Atari ST. Since then, I've played on just about every console thats ever come out (barring the Gamecube). I think the console is best for 'sit down together' social gaming though and don't really use it for solo gaming, barring Final Fantasy and the original Tomb Raiders (woo!).

First MUD I played was called Legends of Terris. Tried out various MMOs too.

On the PC, which I still think is king of solo gaming, I've played the old point-n-clicks (Simon the Sorcerer, Monkey Island etc), as well as various RPGs like Planescape Torment, Baldur's Gate, NWN, Ultima series, Deus Ex, Diablo, Fallout, KOTOR. Have played the odd FPS with a decent storyline like Dead Space, FEAR, Bioshock.

4. Why you'd like to join TOG

I would like to join TOG as after having read your public forums and liking the atmosphere here, I think it would be nice to get to know you and try out new games with friendly community. I also believe older gamers understand the pressures of a real "real" life which means we can better manage expectations in terms of the amount of gaming face time that's expected.

5. Anything else you'd like to share

Hmm, I'm a big kid at heart, and a sucker for a well-written storyline, so in the future (if accepted) you will definitely see an Uncle Iroh quote from Avatar: The Last Airbender in my signature (yes, I know it was made for kids, but I just love Uncle Iroh)!
