I started playing games a long time ago. First on a TRS80 until I got my hands on a Vic20. I've been playing games on and off ever since. My first MMOs were Asherons Call and EQ. I've played many MMOs since these. In Asheron's Call I led a guild of 4600 characters. A few hundred real players. When we spun off into Shadowbane and SWG I also led those groups but they were much smaller, perhaps 20 or so members. Our Shadowbane group did become rather large by the time I turned over leadership and went to SWG.
I've played almost exclusively with the same group of people for almost 10 years now. From game to game some people would drop in or out depending but we regrouped quite often. Today they all live primarily in WOW and LOTRO and I just really don't care for either game all that much. So I'm looking for a new group that I can hopefully hang out with in many games for many years into the forseeable future.
Right now I'm starting to play Champions. I saw your post there and thought this sounded like just the group for me to investigate. I don't care much for Drama or people harrassing me because my office required me to work later than normal. I'd like a group who understand how much in stresses a guy out to have a teenage son and daughter at the very same time
My name in Champions is @Reyluryn. My characters so far are Lilith, IronSide, Felstorm, Armitage and BishopRayne. Since I've only played for a couple of hours I have absolutely no idea what I'll play long term. It depends largely on what is most usefull for the kind of game I find myself playing.
Thanks for reading this reguardless of the outcome.
