[DONE] request TOG membership and CO!

Looks like a good crowd and the rules are great. If I could get membership I would appreciate it. So far CO is looking good, little rough around the edges but pretty good so far.

Well somehow I missed the instructions on how to apply but I found them now. So here is my more formal request.

I currently play WoW, CoH and CO.
I have been playing RPG's since 1979. During that time I have played
D&D
AD&D
Boot Hill
Gamma World
007
Top Secret
V & V
Champions
Marvel
DC
...
the list goes on. When I was a kid I used to buy a new RPG as soon as I had the cash so I could learn a new game system.

Eventually I found computer games.

Then I worked as a game designer, company went bust and I moved on but my love of games continues.

Now I'm still in the computer industry - but I'm what they call a Services Project Manager. Basically I support the support people and work with them and Engineering to submit requests to make the product easier to support - I always have flashed to Office Space..

In any case I've always struggled finding a low drama guild in games. In CoH I have a solo guild, works well so I don't have to deal with the drama.

Console games....well lets see I guess all of them but the recent ones.

I stopped playing them due to a hand injury I recieved in the military - got some metal embedded in a finger - it isn't some glamorous metal embedding story - I was a carpenter hammered to hammers together and the claw of one hammer explode - mythbusters says it won't happen and maybe with the new hammers it won't but it sure happened to me.

After playing for 8 hours solid on the consule game my index finger went numb and my fingertip turned black. Turned out the metal fragement was on both a nerve and the blood vessal. Since then the consol controllers are off limits and I'm keyboard bound.

So the reason I'd like to join ya'll is its nice to game with folk that have some life experience and understand that these are... well games.
