Talking Application for Aion

Q: What games are you currently play/looking to play with TOG?
A: I'm currently playing Aion (since the 3rd closed beta, and on a Chinese server waiting for the NA release) and I still have a Guild Wars account but it's been sadly neglected lately.

Q: What was the first gaming console you own or pen and paper game you played?
A: Weeelll, when I was a kid/teen, consoles hadn't been invented yet - and believe it or not, the only known use of a pen and paper ( to me, anyway) was for writing letters
. Somehow I managed to avoid MUDs, D&D - the lot - all through the 80s and 90s until my then partner bought UO: Renaissance in 2000 - and I was hooked. Since then it's been MMORPGs all the way.

Q: Why do you want to join TOG?
A: I've been guildless for a while as I tend to take lengthy breaks from gaming when work gets busy, so I'm looking for a larger guild with a relaxed bunch of peeps for when Aion launches in NA, without strict expectations about the number of hours you play etc, but with a level of organisation. And I've run into some of you IG, which is a pretty good advertisement.

Q:Tell us about yourself or anything else you'd like to share
A: I'll save the non-gaming stuff till we get to know each other better *bats eyelashes*. In the gaming sense I've played:
- UO (Oceania, 2000-2003) - yes, post T2A, guess that makes me a carebear uhuh?
- Conquer Online (Triumph, 2004)
- Guild Wars (2005-curent)
and beta'd:
LOTRO, AOC, Wish and now Aion.
Notice anything? No FPS, no single player PC games or anything else. In other words I pretty much suck at anything requiring any level of micro - obviously this is attributable entirely to the sad lack of consoles in my yoof (though of course, I blame the lag ).
