[DONE] TOG Application - Champions Online

I'm currently playing CO. I started in Open Beta, thru Headstart and haven't stopped. I have an EQ2 account where I play an 80 Troubadour and 80 Paladin on the Antonia Bayle server. Haven't played EQ2 much lately since I hate soloing in that game and the guild I currently am a member of has stopped raiding for the summer.

The first video game console I ever had...or my family had was an Atari 2600. Since then I've had the NeS, Super NeS and all the Playstation consoles. I started playing D&D back in 1984. Played it for several years with school friends until I joined the Army in 1988. When I was in the Army I picked up another D&D group for awhile but then moved on to other PnP games such as Champions (huzzah!) and Harn World. If no on is familiar with that last one and you still play PnP I suggest checking it out. The combat system is so much more involved and realistic. I currently GM a blended DnD and Harn World campaign a couple times a month.

I'm interested in joining TOG for many of the same reasons I'm sure you created the clan. I don't like playing with little kids that always want power leveled or just like mouthing off. I don't like playing with people who are loot whores and throw a tantrum when they don't get what they want. I'm a laid back kind a guy. I like grouping with people who have the same goals I have: to have fun playing a game with people that don't annoy me :P

I'm 41 years old, I live in the US on the East Coast. My playtimes atm are pretty flexible. I usually have plans during the week most nights (6pm-9pm EST). I guess I'm what most people would call a casual raider. I like raiding a few times a week. Raiding is probably one of my favorite aspects of any MMO I've played. The coordination and timing involved amazes me, and the sense of pride after accomplishing our goals is a thrill.

I'm currently playing a few different heroes on CO. Trying to decide which I like best. I have a munitions (Dethshot), dual-blades (Dethlok), force/supernatural/darkness (Ultra) and lastly, power armor/gadgeteering (Zero). I usually go by the name Rhumor on forums since I've had that name since my first MMO but I can change that for convenience once I settle on my main hero.
