Hi everyone, I would like to join the TOG community.

I've played EVE-Online for a few years now in a private corp with a RL friend and we're always wondering where to go next in this game. I'm 32, have two jobs, and don't have the time for gaming as I once did, even though the passion is still there. And then I stumbled upon you guys

My first gaming experience was playing on an old Zenith computer, then later I got my own Amstrad, before venturing into the world of the Commodore Amiga and onwards to PC's.

I played a lot of games back then. Still fond memories of Sopwith, Spindizzy, Tau Ceti, Port's of Call, Speedball and the like, but above them all stood Elite. I kept going back to it even if the computers changed. Then came Frontier, FFE, Privateers and I kept going. I still remember flying around the surface of planets in FFE thinking that this was nearly virtual reality - today I chuckle when I see the screenshots

An avid fan of fantasy and sci-fi, I played a lot of roleplaying games, both RL and online. Clocked over 15.000 hours on a MUD called Realms of Despair, and also partook in the great battles in the browser based Earth2025 in the late 90's.

Now a days it's a different life. Work takes up a lot of the time, and time just seems to zoom by, but I still need my gaming kick every now and then. Both with friends in PES and online with EVE.
