Hey Guys, Girls and ,

I have been playing BF2142 for the last 18months now and always find your server to be the best for teamplay, variety and close call matches. My brother and I catch up alot online as he lives on the mainland and I am in Tasmania for the next 4 years. He recently became a member and gave me the details to apply for membership. I didn't know these places existed? My brother and I started playing games like D&D, pencil flick games ( like asteroids but on paper where you could purchase moon bases and defences and mine, very cool game my brother created when we were young ) we had an Atari, Amstrad ( Rebel star on cassette was the best except when it took an hour to load and then crashed ) Coleco, Intellivision in fact while i'm writing this I am quite amazed at the time dedicated to playing games with my brother over the years, gaming has been a big part of my life and a great way to connect with him and others. I remember the first time we connected 2 playstations together with 2 tvs opposite each other and blew out that we were playing each other on the original "Doom" that experienced hooked me, as we always thought how cool it would be to play multiplayer, and this was without mic's mind you so now it's just amazing
Games I like to play are the Dawn of War series, C&C, Company of heroes, and games similar to this format. FPS such as the battlefield series all series especially BF2142 and looking forward to bad company 2 coming out on PC. My favourite sporting game is madden but is no longer available on PC due to piracey or something like that but I am psyched to see Blood Bowl coming out this month which I played a bit on the board. Love Gridiron!!!
I am into Yoga, alternative health and keeping fit so gaming is an outlet for me to be competitive have some fun connect with people and be strategic on another level. I have my first child on the way and have so much going on now and i'm sure there is more to come, so for me TOG appeals as a place for some me time. I can't stand hackers and people who are rude to one another online after all it's just a game ( even though I play to win I love the losses and the challenge that there are so many people out there that are more proficient at head shots which I aspire to become better at )
Next month I am building my first PC from scratch with my brother in NSW then shipping it back to Tas, I am very excited as I have been a console guy for the last 10 years and was a freak for The Halo series and madden of course. But I have finally seen the light and my PC will be born the first week of october.
I final I would just like to say thanks for taking the time to look at my application and hope that you feel I am suitable to become a TOG member.
