Default App: Sapota (Champions Online)

Found your thread in the Champions forums, followed (obviously!), and liked what I'd read. Specifically: the simple idea of a community spanning multiple games is appealing!

Electronic gamer since stealing my brother's Merlin. Family got a 2600 in '79, have been hooked since. Both consoles and PC games provide not just "distraction", but also socializing and entertainment. Generally prefer it to boob-toob camping, fantasy sports leagues, etc.

Only long-term MMO experience has been WoW, which i've played since near-launch. Have since dabbled in others (Tabula Rasa [RIP], Warhammer Online, Conan, etc...). My WoW playing has followed that of most long-time WoW'ers: patch arrives, content is devoured, boredom/tedium slowly returns. Each new patch/expansion seems to further expose that it's still the same Malibu Stacy doll, just with another new hat. I'll continue to WoW, but I'm also always looking to supplement it to avoid burnout.

So: starting in Champions Online now, which seems to be a bit more geared to group play even at lower levels. Stuck at 13-15 in Millenium City with a couple of toons, getting trounced. A consistent, trusted group of like-minded players seems to be the best option; that's what drove me to visit the Super Group recruiting channel, and hence this post.

In RL: project manager at a tiny web-dev software shop in the Minneapolis/Saint Paul area. Dog lover, active with canine-rescue groups.

Thanks for your consideration!

In-game toons:
Champions: Xpyke, Armyman, Brazier
