Hey guys,

A little about myself to join TOG.

I have been playing mostly on your TF2 server under the name of Dread and always have a great game and the Friday nights on DOD:S is awesome. Nice to play with adults for a change instead of the "all your bases belong to us" kids. I have played under this name ever since I started to play multiplayer games.

Currently playing mostly TF2 and DOD:S with a few games of COD4 and trackmania as online games. Offline games I am quite addicted to Racedriver GRID with the MOMO race wheel.

I have been gaming for over 30 years and plan to game til the very end, although hax maybe needed for when the arthritus sets in . I live in a small township called Buninyong near Ballarat in Victoria, I tend to be online gaming from 8pm to 2am every night.

HL2DM

MDKA (Murder, Kill, Destruction, Assualt), OTH (Over The Hill) which sort of dissolved and started AC (We never decided on the name) with the same people barring a couple - MDKA was run by some arsey kid so I left pretty quickly afterwards and spent all my time with OTH then called AC. OTH was an over 30's clan which was the same setup you have here. Good fun gaming, play for fun attitude, We had some very good players and people that played for fun. We was the only clan that would play anyone (like the top clans) as we enjoyed playing even when being torn a new one. We played a lot of HL2 ctf and remember Wumba (I'm not cleaning that up) and Nugget who were UGG in those days playing a lot of ctf to. Great game shame it didn't take off more.

DOD:S

TMA (Again old people not deciding on a name or remembering what we did decide on) - OTH did not play any other game so I had to join a DOD:S clan as I wanted to play a few scrims when it was first out. TMA was spawned out of the CNTZ clan which has now unfortunately wound up due to internal issues.

TF2

MD (Medical Domination) - Mostly made up from ex hl2dm players. We started of really badly as very few of us came from team gaming background mostly free for all players. Once we got experience some help from div 1 teams we quickly took the OZF Div2 champions in 8's and 6's. Also held top spot for GA 8's and finished top 15 each season. Left on personal reasons. I run and admin the TMA DOD:S server but it rarely gets used these days so I might wind it up soon.

COD4

G*4*H (Guns 4 Hire) - A goup of friends thing for a laugh in COD4, great game amongst friends but pub games really annoyed us.

GAMING HISTORY

Well I have been very fortunate to have owned pretty much every console there was starting in mid/late 70's with a pong machine my father made. From there to the Philips G7000 which I taught myself Hex code on at 7 years old. Atari 2600, ZX80, ZX81, Oric, Dragon 32, BBC Micro (for the greatest game of all time Elite) Vic 20, Commodore 64, Spectrum (rubber keys and a golf ball for 5 seconds on 100 meters on hyper sports ), Sega Master System, Nintendo NES, Sega Mega Drive, Nintendo SNES, PS1, Xbox. Missed out on PS2 and consoles their after due to owning pc's and 18 months backpacking around the world (well 1/2 of it). From 11 years old I worked 2 jobs to save and buy these machines.

Well that's me in a very small nutshell.

Welcome to TOG...not sure if you're still with your other COD4 clan, but if you're interested in playing COD4 with TOG, drop by our forums and say gday...even if you are still with guns for hire, still drop by and say gday anyway...maybe we can get a friendly scrim happening or something...
