Hi, my handle is Todash which is a name I've used in game and in forums for awhile along with awizardly.

I am applying to the guild at the suggestion of a current member and co-worker: ajanx

ajanx and I have played quite a few games together and I respect his judgement in regards to the selection of guilds and other people that are closer to our demographic.

I have played games extensively throughout my entire life going back to some real oldies on my fathers unix machines. First computer gaming beyond things like hangman was "adventure" (Basically Zork) and "rogue" (Early variant of what is now played as Nethack)

First Console was an atari 2600, which surprisingly had a very large gap until my playstation 2. In the time between, I gamed on BBS (Games like tradewars), PC and Mac.
Early favorites were the Original PC Mechwarrior, Dune 1&2, Wing Commander, Ultimas all the way eventually up to Ultima Online (My first encounter with real MMOs)
Since then I've played a fair amount of MMOs including:
SWG: Before NGE
Earth and Beyond
WoW
LOTRO
Eve Online

I've played paper and figure games including:
D&D, Siembiedas Robotech Games, Warhammer 40K and EPIC scale.

I also used to be an avid collectible cards player back from the MtG, I still have my cards for some reason even though I don't play anymore. Nostalgia I guess.

I'd like to join TOG to have a mature group of players to enjoy games with.
Fallen Earth would be the first game, but could include possibly other divisions.

I was a raiding guild officer in WoW up to Burning crusade, and a veteran of a rigid raiding schedules. Now I am really looking for a more casual relaxed atmosphere and people to play with. I just don't have the time to go hardcore anymore and don't have a burning desire to get into the grind of guild leadership. That means I do have a great appreciation for the efforts of any level of guild leadership in making being a member of a guild enjoyable.

I play other games on consoles like the 360 and PS3, as well as PC. Some college buddies of mine have a standing game day so we can jaw while we are geographically dispersed. Looking forward to running a Blood Bowl league online with them actually. I've also gotten pretty good at playing drums pretty much entirely through playing Rock Band.
