Default Greetings old fellas & fellarinas

When my friend told me about this group I thought YES, A GREAT IDEA. It's just so nice to find something for we non-teens, -tweens & -rugrats.
This is my post by way of introduction and application, so here goes.
I came late to gaming in general. I'm well over 40 now and when I was a teenager it was all Space Invaders, Defender, Pacman and the like. None of these really lit my fire (nowhere near as much as a hormone-induced rush for the famales at my school), so I wasn't the guy in the video arcades pushing coins into the consoles. I remember a friend bought a Vic 20 (or maybe it was a Commodore 64) and we played Mule for hours on weekends, but that's it.
Then, years later, someone showed me Warcraft: Orcs and Humans on their PC and I never looked back. From there it was Diablo and I was COMPLETELY hooked. I have extensively played well over 200 single-player games over the last ten or so years, rotating around RTS, RPG and City Builders (and Civ).
Then I started playing WoW. My first MMO, and still a real time-eater for me. Love it, especially the social aspects of the game (I always thought Social was a contradiction in gaming, as I've nearly always played solo games). It's another world fellas.
Last night I completed the download (phew) and install of the Aion beta and it looks to be another major time-eater. This thing is hot.
look forward to seeing some of you zimmer-framers online soon.
