G'day
Myself and 3 other mates are currently looking for a launch guild for AION. We used to be involved with a guild called RANCORE (only been associated with during beta not any previous affiliations with there other game incarnations)
Anyway.. they have decided to NOT to play on the unofficial Australian server... imo because they think it will mean less competition during peak times and increase there chances of hitting the top circle guild lists for the server... Myself and my mates think this is sorta lame and so are looking for alternatives.
We are all 30-40 year olds and very experienced online mmo players. Most of us cut our teeth in EQ1 and have been involved in mmos from that time. My personal experience is eq1 (deep into game), swg (deep into game), gw (on and off), wow(deep into game), d&do (mega casual), eq2 (tried for nostalgia), aoc (to level cap and a bit beyond). I was involved in a top circle guild in wow and did all content up to but not including the first raid patch for wrath. Though personally have been looking for a new game for a while and this is why I played aoc to level cap and first release raids among other things.
Anyway... once Rancor seamed to not be the thing we were looking for we are now franticly trying to find a launch guild in these last days before Aion goes live. We are interested in ToG as the entire concept of a guild run by and mainly staffed buy older gamers is very appealing (especially to me after play wow for so long) and my mate Drapple knows you guys from Call of Duty... and this is also a part of the appeal of ToG.. as you are a milti-game guild so there is a strong chance that the mates we find here will be able to run into other games as time moves on.. I myself normally at least try most mmos.. and always cool to have others to test play with.
Anyway we are all 30+ and 2 of us are not devoiced yet

So while we consider ourselves pretty "into it" we are not typical "hardcore" gamers. What we are though is dedicated guild members that will have near perfect guild event attendance, or at least announced days we will always be available... though we may not be the kind of guildies that farm a billion mats for crafting and such.
As we all played the Aion betas we have our own classes we would like to play but are open to suggestions if there is a class recruitment restriction.
While, obviously, each of us 4 will apply separately I would like to say that were are kind of a team for real life players and are happy to take our chances on recruitment but if there is not 4 spots up for grabs... well there might not be much point.
Well I hope this information is what you need... and if your interested in getting some more regular players... then please let me know
