Howdy...

I'm a 38 year old guy who's been PC gaming since the Commodore-64 was first released. Played the C-64 up until my first IBM Compatible system (386 system) back in the late 80's. For several years (1992-199i even ran a BBS network (Dragon-Isle Net) prior to joining the USAF back in 1994 (I was honorably discharged in 199.

My first pen and paper RP experiences were with basic D&D and AD&D 1st Ed. (when i was in Jr. High and HS) and many others since then. Even used to attend gaming conventions until they evolved more into Sci-Fi and Live RP conventions here in Arizona.

My first real MMO experience was with City of Heroes when it first came out, and since then i've played many others such as WoW, DDO, AOC, FlyFF, EQ2, and others. Most recently i've started playing Champions Online. I'm also lined up for Aion starting at the end of this week.

I frequently prefer using chat programs like Vent or Teamspeak when playing MMO's as i believe it adds to the community aspect being able to really talk with folks either when playing or otherwise.

I am currently in a group within Champions but it is mostly comprised of younger folks, some of which do need to grow up a bit. I'm puting my feelers out in hopes of finding a better group of folks to play with, and hope this is a good match for me. I'm an older geek and don't mind it at all, hehe... I prefer a friendly atmosphere with as little to no drama or negativity as possible.
