[DONE] HALCYUS: Seeking Champions Online Guild

Hi folks; Halcyus here. I'd love to be considered for membership in TOG. I'm an active MMORPG gamer, seeking to visit and team with others who are more mature and laid-back in manner. I'm a family-friendly type with a wife and two boys, and I don't go in for a lot of gratuitous obscenity or coarseness--I've got little ones looking over my shoulder from time to time. I'm not preachy about it; just didn't want folks to think me antisocial if I don't chime in with some of the kidding around that's bound to go on. I place a lot of stock in the type of example I set as a dad. Besides that disclaimer, I'm an outgoing, quirky kind of person with what I would consider a good sense of humor. And I really emphasize being helpful with other guild members, and just any players I find out there who need assistance. Anyway, with that preamble taken care of, here is the requested application info:

1. Games I play/looking to play with TOG: I currently play Champions Online, where I would like to join the TOG Supergroup, as well as LOTRO. If you guys have a LOTRO presence, maybe I could discuss linking up with you there.

2. First gaming console I owned: I was an Intellivision kid. I had buddies in school with Atari 2600 already, so I went for Intellivision so we'd have a variety of games to play

3. Why do I want to join TOG: I really try to get along with anybody, so I don't want to sound like an age snob. It's just that I find socializing with others of my level of maturity and above to be smoother. There's less selfishness, less drama, more esprit-de-corps. I like that. I also like not being embarrassed when I talk about TV shows and movies I used to enjoy..."What is THAT?"

4. Tell us about yourself or anything you'd like to share: I guess I pretty much covered that in the first paragraph; oops!

All that said, I'd enjoy being contacted about linking with the CO Supergroup. My characters are at the @Halcyus handle, so contact me anytime! Looking forward to meeting and visiting with you all.

Outstanding, and thank you! Perhaps you could help point me in the right direction for TOG's Champions-Online Supergroup? I've been snooping around the site, and didn't find a division page for Champions-Online. Are there specific folks playing the game I should look for in-game? Thanks for your help
