OK. A blank box staring me in the face. What to say?
At 57 I am an older gamer. I am retired and now I have time to play games again. I have been playing mmpog s since 1999. Ultima, Eve and now Lineage II. A couple of minor games also.
Tolstoy said I should check this out. So, here I am. Took a while. AOL is not frndly to this forum and registering w yahoo requires that you put in an active address.
My RL makes setting a schedule to play impossible. I play about 8 hours a day but, it could be 2 AM or 2 PM or whatever. I have put in more than a couple 23 hour runs.
I am trying to cut down on that 8 hours. But, it seems to grow not decrease.
In addition, I play paper map wargames and have been known to march miniatures around. For a couple of years, I was the shipping manager at Wargames West, located in Albuquerque. Late '88 to mid '90.
When I am trying to avoid carpal tunnel s., I work on wooden ships or log a few hours writing. (Not much help there though. Does stop mouse cramps however.)
In L2 I have seen a couple of TOG around. I have not seen anyone griefing. That's great.
Versa is a 18 level dark elf mage type. Probably going to be a dark wizard. Can't see going Shillien when I generaly play alone. That lone playing is not my first choice. Just a reallity of living with someone who detests games. I am not real dependable for schedules. In RL I never get warning on impending responsibilities. "We have to be at xyz kid's school in 30 minutes, maybe you would like to shower?" or "We need to talk -- Now" or some such happens altogether to often. Fact of life.
I also have a lt Elf fighter and a human mage. These 2 (and Versa) are all fem and I have a male dwarf. These last 3 are all "tinkering around" chars and all of my creations are on Lionna.
I guess that is more than you wanted to know. So, I exit.
