Hi there,
I'm 36 and french.
I play many games (fps and rpg mostly, but also rts and strategy games), but didn't try online gaming until now, except for one bad experience on Hellgate London, where I returned to single player after a few "(what a) n3wb !!1!" from other players (because I wasn't aware of the intricacies of the current procedure to farm such and such boss)... I'm very glad I found TOG. Your policies seem to have been written especially for me
I'm a casual player. I can at times play for many hours non stop, but I don't want my schedule to be controled by others or the need to finish an instance at all costs. If my wife needs me or a friend knock at the door, I'm off the computer after a short notice.
I bought Guild Wars because it seemed to be more lightweight (timewise) than WoW or other MMORPG. I don't have any experience playing in a guild online, but I picture a friendly bunch of guys who want to play together and don't abuse each other, don't use l33t speak, and don't except my poor self to play 1386 hours just to get that purple gauntlet of über-leetness.
