[DONE] Application for Champions Online

Hey there.

I'm applying here in response to Rourke's post in the Champions Online forums. I haven't yet caught anyone online, but hope to.

I was attracted by the positive feedback posted, and by the appeal of playing with older gamers. I currently play both WoW and recently CO, and in WoW lead a guild (around 60 active members) of almost entirely older folks and some of my family.

I'm 48 and I've been married for 28 years (high school sweetheart and she plays some too.), and have 3 sons, a 25 year old and 19 year old twin boys. I guess I qualify age wise since I have a son that meets that 25 year old cutoff.

My first gaming console (well, my parent's actually) was the Odyssey2, better than the Odyssey because it's color actually came from the machine instead of plastic overlays for the TV. I played quite a bit of D&D and and other pen and paper games (loved Car Wars by Steve Jackson) in college. My first computer was an Atari 400, also purchased in college. I collected and played games for that machine, and the 3 next Ataris, during med school to stay sane. Well, partly sane anyway.

I'd like to join TOG to connect with folks in CO, hopefully make some friends, and maybe form a bridge to some of my guildies in WoW and the "larger" world.
