Default Hello Everyone

I have been into gaming since watching my son play about 6 years ago. I started getting really hooked when I tried a MMO named The 4th Coming and branched out from there. I try all the betas and report as many bugs as I can find. I have actually paid for and played WoW (over 2 years), CoH/CoV (2 years off and on), these 2 are my longest playing ones. Then I have had a few months in LoTR, EQII, GW, Warhammer, AOC and many many of the free games. There are so many it is hard to stick to just one that catches my full attention.

I look for quests in games. When I run out of quests and there is to much grinding I get bored and move on unless I am in a good guild and the socializing replaces the bordum. There is where I am having problems. I have been a member of OTG since 2004 however I have never really been able to connect with any of them in a game. My last attempt was with Aion. I have tried but still feel left out and passed up. They have so many members who play and seem to be more hardcore in Aion than I can be.

I am a hopeless Alt-oholic. It could take me up to a year (and did in WoW) to actually get to the end game level. I like to try all the classes to see what one is best suited for me and never seem to decide .

I mentioned above my son who is now 20 and living in Austin working for Blizzard. (dream job for a video game kid) I have a wonderful husband who cooks for me while I play my games. We have been married 22 years. Only aggro I get is from using vent. It makes him feel left out and he usually has the TV going behind me when I am playing so I don't use it much.

I am looking for a guild that is social in the chat as well as vent. If you are in vent all the time then I am left out. I am currently playing both Aion and Champions (given to me by my son for my last B/D) I see that your Aion chapters are on completly different servers than I have started on. I am an early riser so I play at 5am cst until 10pm cst. Since I am an alt-oholic I only have a couple characters up to lvl 16 so I could start over. My Champion characters (full slots already of course) are wroking up to lvl 15 on one. I would like to hang out with you all and try to connect.

Just an FYI. TOG sig policy for non-subscribers is 500x100 pixels with two lines of text. If you could adjust your sig just a wee bit we'd be thrilled.

I removed my sig, however I am not at all thrilled about your response. I just barely get involved with your guild and already have been offended. I am sorry my signature is a bit to busy for your taste. I haven't even had a chance to find out who and what subscribers are and I have broke some rule I can't even find on your forum. Maybe I have made a mistake asking to join your guild after all. If you are going to have some stuffy rules that people can't even find then count me out.

My sincere apologies. I was trying to be casual and didn't mean to offend.

Your sig wasn't too busy just a bit tall. My own sig is extremely busy. TOG has 36,000 people and is quite casual. The rules we have are there only because we absolutely need them.

There are many informational links in the stickies in the top of the barracks. While I cannot undo this initial poor welcome please give the warm people of Champions Online a chance to meet you.

Regards,

Bayland
