What games am I currently play/looking to play with TOG?
I currently play EVE Online, Empire: Total War, Men of War and I am consider resubscribing to World of Warcraft. These are all games that I'd love to play with the members of TOG.
What was the first gaming console I owned or pen and paper game I played?
In my own experience, I got into gaming very late in my life, my first console was actually a playstation which a nephew of mine gave me; along with a myriad of games after he got a PS2 for his birthday. I never got into pen and papers games in my youth, I was always someone who played chess, monopoly or a nice game of Go.
Why do I want to join TOG?
I'd like to join TOG because it would provide me with an already existing community to play with who because they are older might provide a better more enjoyable gaming experience. I don't think that age is necessarily indicative of maturity but it correlates with it. I also think that because of the nature of community I might find myself more at ease and able to relate to those in TOG than those from other gaming communities. TOG is seemingly the best gaming community for older games and I'd like to be a part of that as an older gamer myself.
Tell us about yourself or anything else you'd like to share.
I'm 49, my name is John, I've been married for 24 years with two children (who are both grown up now). I live in the Southwest of England. I love gaming and probably spend far too much of my time doing it. I think that's all I'd like to share for now. I hope this application is satisfactory.
