Hello All!

Let's start with real life (boring!) stuff: I am a 38 year old (soon to be 39... ugh) mother of 2 young boys. I was a UNIX/Linux Sys Admin for years but now I am a stay at home mom. I love Sci-fi/Fantasy/Horror: Books/Movies/Shows and love love love World of Warcraft (for the horde!) but don't play as much right now ... real life getting in the way.

Now for gaming history:
In the 70s I played Zork on my TRS 80. In the 80s I played Atari and Dungeon & Dragons. In the 90s I played nethack and was a HUGE MUD fan for years and played on a ROM MUD. I also played Might and Magic *, Dungeon Keeper II, Black and White, so on and so on.... Now I play World of Warcraft when I can. I tried other MMOs but they were a disappointment: AoC, Tabula Rasa, City of Heros, and LOTRO (may give that a try again... it was the best of these).

Current game:
Again World of Warcraft ... started playing in March 2005. My main is a level 80 female tauren feral druid herbal/master of elixirs named Daymoss. My alts are Bubastis 70 troll frost mage ench/shadow cloth tailor, Kehleyr 70 undead holy priest goblin eng/mooncloth tailor, and Shadowcat 70 be ret pally miner/jc. I have several alliance toons but never leveled them very high: Sekhmet 40 pally, Imzadi 21 mage, Jadziadax 14 druid.

Want to play:
Really geeked about a ST MMO! I want to check that out.

Why I want to join TOG:
My husband and I were in a casual raiding guild for 2 years filled with wonderful people who quickly became real life good friends. Then the old GM stepped down to allow his brother to run it and the new GM is just awful. With a very heavy heart we both gquit tonight because of his inflammatory posts on the guild web site. Other guildies pointed out to him, on the thread, that he was being rude but he basically posted "nyah nyah you all suck LAST WORD" and locked the thread. That combined with the new crop of raiding players who's gchat conversations make me want to vomit they are so vile... it was just too much. I want to be in a guild of adults who are casual raiders and are friendly. We are two under geared level 80 taurens (my husband plays a BM hunter) who occasionally play and want to be in a guild with like minded adults. Oh and a GM who doesn't have a chip on his shoulder is paramount!

So long story short (too late!) a (sadly now former) guildie told me about your site and I was eager to learn more and become a part of it. I am looking to meet people and maybe find a new home for our toons. We will happily server transfer because we want to be part of a community of like minded people.

Anything else:
My husband and I are a package so we won't join a guild that only wants me or only wants him... I think that's kind of understandable no? Oh and my husband's main is Nightmoss. We were called "The Mosses" in game. In game we referred to our 3 year old as mm = minimoss and our 6 month old as 3m = Mighty Mega Moss. Night made his toon first and I made Daymoss as a joke on his name but I fell in love with playing a druid so I kept her. SOOOO the corny matching toon names is NOT Night's fault... it's all mine!
