[DONE] Application for TOG!

I actually typed "Application for Employment" in the title lol! Who wouldn't want to work for a company that supported older gamers!!??!


My name is Andy, most call me "Ears" in game, and yes, they are pointy and I have no idea how they got that way I am here after a short visit at a friend who is also a co-worker, currently playing AION. I'm completely sold on the game, but even more sold on this community which he Raved about!

I used to be a Wow player (casual) until it got to the point of large groups, the guild I was in seemed to be full of folks that couldn't all just get along. It got overwhelming listening to them bicker, and I fell out of it real quick, waiting for another MMO that caught my eye. In the past two years I have continued to be a consistent UT2004 player, under the same alias "EarsLikenElf" playing CTF instagib and RPG invasion.

I knew i was a gamer back with my first PC "386 sx16?" playing TankWars! If you have ever heard of it its a very simple game with multiplayer (local 1 PC only) capabilities where you have the tanks spread out on a map and different angles/weapons are used which blow up the land and/or the other tanks. If you have ever played Worms, or Worms Armageddon, its the same concept.

From there I ventured through Quake, Winquake, GLquake, Quake 2, Unreal, Unreal Tournament, UT2004, Fale, GW, WOW, COD, and Fallout. I even got stuck on that Enter the Matrix game for a bit, was fun for a minute .

I am definitely here for a community of folks that understand every day life, work, and family. I only put in maybe 2-5 hrs a week of game play, but its nice to have folks available that understand life's demands. I have my wife and 2 children that keep me busy and when the weather and the money is right I work on a boat restoration project that is 2 yrs ongoing (very fun and great learning experience).

Tidbit: I have a tendency to be a bit spontaneous and speak in different dialects to get a laugh out of people.
