What games are you currently play/looking to play with TOG?
I'm currently playing Fallen Earth - I played Warhammer Online until recently (perhaps I might pick that up again). I am looking forward to Star Wars: the Old Republic.


What was the first gaming console you own or pen and paper game you played?
My first encounters with computer games were on my brother's Atari 2600 (Space invaders! ) and MS-X (MSX - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia), where I would load a game for at least a good 20 minutes or so using an audio tape. The games that I remember most vividly and that I loved were Choplifter (YouTube - MSX: Choplifter) and Hero (YouTube - Activision H.E.R.O. (MSX)). Looking at those vids brings back memories

My first real MMO was Star Wars Galaxies (pre-NGU) and I loved it. Until they entirely try to redesign the game into a standard class based MMO. Ever since I have played WoW, Warhammer Online and some other MMO's. With the recent launch of Fallen Earth I see some old school Galaxies elements, which is refreshing.

Next to playing MMORPG's, I like to play racing games, shooters, flight sims and strategy games.


Why do you want to join TOG?
Mainly to find a group of cool, mature people again to interact and share experiences with in MMORPG's.

I came to know of TOG when I was playing Fallen Earth last weekend and I saw one of your members pass by. I thought "hmm, the older gamers, that might be cool". Then this morning I stumbled upon a post of one of your members on the FE forums and checked out the site. Bottom line: I'd like to be in a group of people in my age group - the guild I was with in Star Wars Galaxies consisted mainly of people in their 20's and 30's and was a great group of people. I have been trying to find a similar group in online games ever since.


Tell us about yourself or anything else you'd like to share.
I am 29 (at the big 3-0 in less than 2 months), I am from Amsterdam, The Netherlands originally, but now live in San Francisco, USA.

What I love besides gaming:

• my wife - got married a couple of months ago
• cars: fast cars! Eagerly awaiting Forza 3. Have a 2005 M3 E46 myself - my fav car is the new Nissan GT-R. My fav super car is the Lamborghini Murcielago.
• my job, which is Internet Marketing
• traveling
• misc stuff: good tv series / movies / books (with good I mean unpredictable), Formula 1

Due to number 1 and 3 above, I have switched to a more casual gamer: I am not able to pull regular all day/nighters or 4AM raids anymore, but I found that even MMO's can be combined with real life.

This is probably already a lot more info than the average person would be interested in But if you'd like to know more, feel free to contact me. It would be great to be part of ToG in FE and other games!
