My name is Dave and my Gamertag is BADC0P N0 DONUT on Xbox Live. I'm 42 years old and, like a lot of gamers my age, I got started back in junior high playing Atari 2600. Over the years I've had many consoles including NES, SNES, Genesis, Dreamcast, Gamecube, Xbox). Although I spent about a 10 year period being heavily into PC gaming, I relatively recently returned to console gaming on the Xbox 360.
I love playing multiplayer on Xbox live but it seems that it is dominated by 12 year olds who's primary interest is to figure out the latest "glitch" in Call of Duty 5 or Halo 3 while talking trash. I have friends on line and they are all younger that I am. Looking to find a community of Xbox Live gamers who are older, have jobs, don't spent 12 hours per day leveling up in COD4, and have better things to do than annoy others in the game lobbies.
From above, it should be obvious that I'm an FPS player with my current favorite as still Call of Duty 4, then Call of Duty World at War, followed by Halo 3 (ODST too). I feel like I'm pretty good for the amount of time that I have to play each week (say about 4 hours per week on weekends mostly). Can't wait for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and admit I may be taking off Nov 10 from work for that one!
I'm an IT Professional specializing in small businesses throughout the Sacramento, CA region. Married and have a 2 year old son. Not a lot of time for gaming, but that's why I don't play WOW. I like games I can bring up quickly jump in and out and meet some friends. Also games that don't require the latest and greatest PC hardware. I work with that stuff all day, I don't want to sit in from of a computer leveling or "raiding" into the night.
