Hi,
Nice to see an organisaton like this exists. Perhaps I won't feel as odd now when I log into WoW. I know my kids, although they play Xbox, Call of Duty, etc are probably a bit too embarressed to tell their mates that the ol' man is likely on the Computer more than them!
In fact its my brothers that told me about you...so this "game thing" must run in our family...the boys anyway.
I started as as a figure wargamer after the more rudamentary elements of the hobby were explained to me by a mate, using a number of books laid out on a bare table in the school library. It was very basic as my pal tried to explain how two units (books) might combat each other...but I was hooked.
That was a long time ago and my games got more sophisticated (couldn't go the other way could they) but it is something that has stayed with me all these years. I read LoR in the eighties and was an avid D+D'r at that time. I still play Historical Wargames, still read Fantasy but I prefer to D+D in WoW these days.
Sorry, I have rabbitted on enough here
