[DONE] Potential TOG Recruit - Champions Online

Hello All,

Let's see... been a gamer since before the term existed. Tend to divide what little time I have these days between console and PC. Chatted with a TOG member during CO Early Start and scored an invite. I found out more about your group from the CO forums. Seems like a good group. So I decided to submit an application.

What games are you currently playing/looking to play with TOG?
Champions Online primarily. But I might check out any console offerings later.

1. What was the first gaming console you own or pen and paper game you played?

My first console was the Sears Telegames knockoff of the Atari 2600. I still have it and almost every game. My first pen and paper outing was with Champions. Some of us have been waiting for CO a long time.

2. Why do you want to join TOG?
Champions Online is plenty solo friendly but there are some missions that require teams, not to mention lairs. And to quote a friend: "Nobody wants to play with DemonSeed666..." Plus the game seems to lend itself to social gaming. But given the "DemonSeed" issue, I believe the atmosphere of an older group is likely more my speed.

3. Tell us about yourself or anything else you'd like to share.

I'm hoping to find members based in the Central time zone (I'm in Texas) or some night-owls/early birds from other zones who don't mind teaming from time to time. My play time is usually post 9pm but the days are sporadic. Weekends are a complete toss up.

Bit of Irony: I don't tend to role play. But I do develop long, detailed histories for my characters.

Glad to be aboard. Thanks. But I can't seem to access the new members guide. I can load the first page; then it kicks me out saying I don't have permission to access that section. Not sure if that's something to address here or another part of the site.
