Hi peoples!

1. Battlefield 2142 is the only game I really play online (I have Star Wars Battlefront II but it's kinda meh). So BF 2142 is the game I'd like to play with you guys/girls as part of the clan. Is that right? Would I become part of the TOG clan? I ask because I've never actually played online as a group, only by myself dropping in to games and whatnot (I'm not a "serious" gamer as such and have never been involved in an online gaming group so I don't know the "way of things").

2. The first gaming console I owned was a Sega Master System II and I clocked Alex Kidd in Miracle World (the built-in game) and then got Mortal Kombat but then the console died and I didn't own another one until I got an Xbox back in 2004. My first pen and paper game was AD&D. I played a Halfling thief. Don't hold that against me, it wasn't by choice! LOL But I really got into pen and paper gaming through the Star Wars RPG and the Palladium stuff (Rifts, TMNT, Robotech) and the World of Darkness stuff (2nd Ed) before it went all dodgy.

3. My main reason I want to join TOG is because, playing on the TOG server on BF 2142 you don't get any of the aggro or pre-pubescent @#$! that a lot of the other servers have. People are there to have fun and seem to be a generally nice bunch of people. For example, in Counterstrike: Source if you happened to make a kill on some "elite" guy you'd get them abusing you over the headsets until you just ended up quitting (which I did and took the game back to EB Games). LOL Even on some of the other BF 2142 servers you get some real morons spouting so much drivel it's not funny! I play socially (as you would see from my BF rank/score) and don't take things too seriously.

4. I'm 30 years old, male, and I'm an art and multimedia teacher in Melbourne though I'm from Tamworth NSW originally. I game socially/casually. The only game I really play online is BF 2142 and the rest is stuff on my Wii. I've been teaching for 5 years now (3 years in NSW, 1 year in the UK and this year here in Melbourne) and next year I'm heading back to school to study 3D Animation and Games Design as that's the field I want to move in to.
