TOG - The Older Gamers

Hi TOGs,

I would like to become a TOG member.

What am I currently playing and looking to play?
I am currently playing COD4 and am looking to play L4D2 when it is released (I have the demo downloaded and will have a go of it when it is released).

What was my first gaming console?
When I was a kid, around the time when Nintendo was just becoming popular (1991 or so), my mum bought us a sega mega drive (not sure why). My brother and I wanted a nintendo console and so persuaded our mum to take the Sega mega drive back and get the Nintendo console. This ended up being a good move as we were able to trade games with other families in the street, as most also had nintendo consoles.
My first purchase of a console was a playstation 2 which I saved up for a while to get while still at Uni. It was very entertaining but in my last year of undergraduate uni, I purchased a computer. Since then I have only really wanted to game on PC.

Why do I want to join TOG?
I am already friends with one guy who is a part of TOG and see it as a good opportunity to become friends with other older and like minded gamers.

Other stuff?

I'm into a lot of leisure activities, including most aussie sports, guitar and computers in general.

I went to uni to study biomedical science and am pursuing a career in that at the moment.

That's about it.
