[DONE] Application, Hello World, and all that

Well, where to begin... *ponders*
How about... the beginning? Yeah, sounds good.

Alright. My name's Per, but everyone calls me Doxxan or Dox (started as a way to tease me when I was a kid, stuck after awhile, comes from paradox->perradox->doxxan, probably makes more sense for other scandinavians). 27yrs old, live in southern Sweden, my number one passion is coding (and lot's of it), closely followed by gaming (where my interest for coding started), and I work as an IT-consultant (at ST-Ericsson at the moment).

My first game ever played was on the NES 8-bit, and I think it was Super Mario Bros., although my parents have showed photos of me sitting in my dads lap toying with his C64. Sadly I've never actually owned my own, jumped straight to a 486DX2 with a whopping 4mb ram. Ever since then I've been completely hooked on games and spend a good deal of my sparetime gaming (aslong as it doesn't interfere with my coding heh). To commemorate my first console I'm trying to code my own NES-emulator at the moment . I've been kindof mmo-hopping ever since I got internet access and played together with Dorrin, Oz, and other crazies, every now and then since Vanguard beta.

I'm gaming less nowadays than I did when I was young(er), partly because work has a tendency to take care of any sparetime you have at times.
Last christmas, I returned to WoW for the umptenth time, got invited into a friendly casual guild with a few friends and all was well. I managed to prove myself, became a raidmaster, got to be known as the guild's tactician, helped out with writing bossguides and classguides, and was good on my way to becoming an officer. Sadly some things happened, got into some pretty heated arguments with a former "friend", and have since left the game, utterly hurt.

In any case, look at me rambling on! The TL;DR version is yes, I'm atleast 25yrs old and gaming is one of my passions .
I play anything and everything, except maybe sports games, enjoying driving games, fps's, rts's, rpg's, arcade, etc etc, where mmo's are amongst my favorites. I'm looking to join TOG for several reasons, including wanting to find a mature community, having people to play with (going solo in mmo's is not really my thing), and most of all, to have fun.
Games I'm playing right now and would like to play with TOG includes but are not limited to Borderlands, Left 4 Dead, Dawn of War 2, Section 8, and so on. I'm currently thinking about returning to Lotro to get in touch with Dorrin and the gang again, and well, he pointed me in this direction hehe.
I'm looking forward to Global Agenda and is certainly a game I'd like to have some friends in when it's released

If there's anything else you'd like to know, well, what else could you even want to know?! What I do in the dark beneath a full moon is only my business
