Hello everyone,

I would like to formally apply for membership in The Older Gamers.

About me, I'm a 31 year old male from Alexandria, VA. I work for a fleet parts specialist in the area. I'm also a college student at Ashford University (their online degree program, the school is actually in Iowa). I'm majoring in Sociology.

In my free time, I like to read (this was a recently developed hobby, I used to hate reading), volunteering (I try to do something once a week), and riding motorcycles (although I'm currently without one). Since it's Veteran's Day, I'll go ahead and mention that I was a military policeman in the US Army for six years. I'm also in the Knights of Columbus (totally unrelated to the military).

Here are the answers to your specific questions:

1. What games are you currently playing/looking to play with TOG? I would like to join the Warhammer Online division. I do not play any other mmo's at this time. I had kind of given them up but one of the account reps I contact often for my job has a son that works for Mythic. We got to talking about Mythic and how I was addicted to Dark Age of Camelot, and the next time he came in, he gave me a WAR shirt. Anyways, I decided to try the game and now I'm hooked on mmo's again.

2. What was the first gaming console you owned or pen and paper game you played? My very fist console system was a Coleco Vision. I never got in to the pen and paper games.

3. Why do you want to join TOG? You guys are everywhere! I like the idea of having a group that has a presence in every game as I realize I can just game with you guys forever. It looks like a well-organized and fun group as well; you've taken care of the structure so I can stick to gaming. Don't get me wrong; I've helped guilds as an officer in the past, and would do it again if asked, but I don't mind just concentrating on playing either.

4. Tell us about yourself or anything else you'd like to share. Despite my busy schedule, I'll always have time to play. I'm a loyal and dedicated fellow; if I'm accepted in to your guild, I'm in it for the long haul. I'm new to Warhammer Online, and don't really have anything to offer other than my time and willingness to help wherever I can. I'm not a mooch or anything like that, so you don't have to worry about me trying to join just to take advantage of you. I'm just here to make new friends and have fun.
