[DONE] Application for TOG in Fallen Earth

Hi, my name is William, i'm 41 years old, and currently playing Fallen Earth (one of the most enjoyable MMO's i've seen in years) under the name "Geadmon". What does the name mean? nothing, but if you've seen a "Geadmon" in any other game, I guarantee you it was me.

First game? "Code of Hammurabi" played on an Olivetti teletype terminal connected to a mainframe downtown by an acoustic modem. No CRT, no screen... just a printer and a keyboard. Had an atari 2600, and several other consoles of that generation. First computer was an apple II+, which I loved. You could take the top plate off, and literally identify every working part by sight... like a car's engine.


Why do I want to join TOG? because I literally don't understand the newer generation of gamers... they whine about the tiniest blemish in a game, criticize everything, and can't seem to solve even the smallest problems. For amusement value, I sometimes try to imagine them trying to plod their way through an old infocom game ( I don't think they could). Of course, I'm making some sweeping generalizations. I don't want to "pwn" people, I just want to play games and have fun.

I've met several TOG members while playing Fallen Earth, and been impressed with how helpful they've been... especially to someone not in their guild. While "competing" for resources at particularly choice gathering spots, I've had two different TOG members strike up a conversation, and come to gentleman's agreements to share resources, trade materials, or split areas. Kind of refreshing.


I'm currently living in Oklahoma, but I was born and lived most of my life in California. I jokingly consider myself a refugee from California... sort of a reverse grapes of wrath. I've been playing games for most of my life, and I used to actually work in the computer game industry (mostly console games), and the software industry.

I was one of the people competing with him over Tech nodes south of Haven. I struck up a convo and shared mats with him on my main, Chase Owens, who was recently promoted to an officer in the TOG FE clan.

I gave him the intel on how to get in our MMO conglomerate, lol.

He gets my vote.
