Hi All,
I'm a 54 year old kid at heart that first played game cartridges on a Spectravideo console. I had my brain exploded with DooM 1 and have been playing PC games ever since.I would like to join the TOGs for the obvious reason, I AM an older gamer, but also because I usually end up back on the TOG BF2142 server having a stress relief session.I have tried other multiplayer games, notably Freelancer with the Crossfire mod, but these all ended up chat sessions with children or ego-maniacs. I like 2142. I describe it to my work mates as "Run and Gun and Die and Laugh" Joining also gives me an easy way to contribute some $$ for costs, only fair IMHO. I work shifts maintaining fire alarm systems in coal mines and try to be a good dad and grandpa to my tribe on time off. Nights on weekends are MINE. Cheers |
