[DONE] Membership Application (Champions Online)

Hey all,

I'd like to apply for membership in the TOG group "The Omega Guard"
(Hmmm TOG TOG...). I've been looking for a super group in Champions
and have found several to be pretty much dead, regardless of their claims
of an active membership. Another group had a 2-3 week membership
process. Wow, I just want to hang out and play a bit, not get a new home
loan! I like teaming up with a group for big objectives and also enjoy
helping less experienced players when they're having issues.I particularly
like the idea of finding a group that is likely to be around as I progress
from game to game.

In Champions I'm always spinning new characters because the creation
system is so flexible and all of the character types are fun and play
differently. My current main characters are FireFlight (L35 Fire),
Quiver (L26 Archer) and Lectro Blade (L19 Dual Blade/Electric
Hybrid) (all are @pneil).

My gaming experience started with the Atari 2600 and some really
bad 8-bit games. As things progressed I dumped a bunch of money
into a new Commodore 64 (with the external drive!) and I was officially
hooked on PC gaming. Played through the Ultima series, and a long
list of other RPG's and simulators. Played Neverwinter Nights with multiple
players on a friend's server (using teamspeak). Started MMO's with "Earth
and Beyond". Spent 3 yrs breaking rocks and fighting rats in "Eve Online".
Played Guild Wars, City of Heroes, and Warhammer more recently.

I'm a 49 yr old electrical engineer. I do a lot of gaming, read, and play electric
guitar (played in bands when classic rock wasn't "classic" . It's a little
known fact that I am one of the few (surviving) people that have actually
flight tested the areodynamics of a golf cart!
