Hi all,
First off, let me thank the organizers of TOG for having the idea to form such a great group! I have been gaming for a long time and I didn't know that TOG existed; I have to admit that I am excited about getting to meet people here!
Perhaps these comments will seem almost cliche in these circles, but I have been into computer gaming since the days of Pong. My first "real" computer was a VIC-20, quickly followed by a Commodore 64, and I fondly remember crashing PET computers in CS class in high school. As far as MMO games are concerned these days I play a variety of titles, including WoW, Champions Online, Dungeon and Dragons Online, and (to a lesser extent) Runes of Magic. As to upcoming games I am really looking forward to Star Trek Online. Historically I have also been into Warhammer Online, Everquest 2, Guild Wars, City of Heroes, and EVE. As to single player games, the list is embarrassingly long

Finally, I have not played much pen and paper games in the last several years, but I will admit to having played Dungeons and Dragon quite a bit in the days of my youth as well as Magic the Gathering, Cosmic Encounter, Star Fleet Battles, and Squad Leader (to name but a few).
Why do I want o join TOG? Between work and family my gaming time is rather limited these days (perhaps another cliche here), so I am looking for a group of people who are in the same situation and "feel my pain". For example, I have a level 71 rogue in WoW, but have yet to experience a vast amount of the 5-man content in Outlands. Why? I belong to a nice guild but have found it hard to get to know people. Because of my limited gaming time I often find it hard to fit into their game schedule and I always find it hard to keep up with the rate at which people gain levels (so I often get left behind). I am in the awkward situation of needing to arrange play times (so I can fit my schedule around them) but sometimes needing to move them because of real life concerns (e.g. my daughter is not asleep yet). I am hoping that in TOG I can find people in similar positions!
So, to finish up, I will mention that I try to reserve Saturday nights for gaming and often stay up quite late. For example, it is not uncommon that I will start around 9pm or 10pm Mountain Time and then play until 3am Mountain Time (I live near Denver). On a personal note I work as a Mathematician and have fenced for many years.
