Hello,

I recently decided to take a break from my preferred game of City of Heroes and decided to try the trial of Fallen Earth. Whenever I join a new game I look around the forums to see what type of community it has. Your group stands out as the most helpful and mature. I know I am a bit young for the requirement, but I believe that once you get to know me you will see that I am unlike most 24 year old males, as I have a steady job and take care of my wife and daughter.

I first started playing video games when I was about 4 or 5 and my mom bought a NES and let me mash the buttons. She has a picture of me smiling and mashing all of the buttons at once. Needless to say I was hooked from then on. I will try any game that comes across my hands. I play predominantly on PC but I do still play my SNES and 360.

My main gaming time are 9pm-midnight (Central US time). However I will occasionally play throughout the day if the game piques my interest.

First thing, thank you for your honesty regarding you age. However, the age limit is one of the cornerstones of TOG and as such we cannot make exceptions.

From your profile I can see you are a few months off turning 25, so if you are still keen at that time, please return here to the Barracks and post again. In the mean time, please feel free to browse our public forums and website.

I still remember signing up with TOG when I had just turned 24, but having to wait a whole year to become a full member. Although I did forget what my login name was and I had to sign up all over again

Now for when you are finally processed in July......

When you get a chance can you drop by our Fallen Earth forum and post in our Post Here If Interested in Fallen Earth sticky listing your toons. It helps those ingame to track down new members to invite them...and also enables us to have a reasonably accurate idea of how many toggers are interested in Fallen Earth.

To be honest I was only able to play a short while this morning. But I do think I will be switching between FE and City of Heroes when ever I get bored playing one of them.

This morning as soon as I got out of the tutorial I saw one of the members in the town I was in. I am happy to see that this group does indeed play, unlike some groups I have heard of.

Oh we play and there is enough of us in FE that some of us are ingame playing whatever hour of the day....so even if you get insomnia and log in....toggers will be there ingame.

Your situation sounds very similar to my own a couple of years ago Alteran. Good on you for being honest.

I was twenty four as well, but married and with a baby. Certainly on the more mature side of that age bracket I think, compared to some of my friends

I discovered TOG at that time, and waited nearly a year until I could join the day I hit twenty five, and I haven't looked back. You won't find a better bunch of like minded, good natured (most of the time ) people who are active across so many games.
