[DONE] Membership application

Hi there

My gaming 'career' started many moons ago with Dungeons & Dragons and later Vampire RPGs. I was never big on video gaming until about three years ago though, when my hubby gave me my own copy of Guild Wars to stop me complaining about the amount of time he spent on 'that stupid game'. It opened a whole new world of gaming for me.

About two years ago I left GW for WoW, where I have been happily plodding along, mostly on the Horde side. I love the social aspect of MMORPGs, but have recently gotten a bit bored with the classic fantasy setting, so I started looking around for something different.

I'm currently on day 4 of my Fallen Earth trial, and I'm liking what I'm seeing so far. I'll most likely buy the game and subscribe to it, so once again I find myself looking for a mature, friendly guild/clan/whathaveyou that suits my play style. This brought me to the TOG recruitment thread on the Fallen Earth forums, and when I looked at your website I realised I'd heard of you before and at least seen some of your members on Guild Wars.

I like the idea of one over-arching community for lots of different games, and the opportunity to experience different games with the same people it brings with it. I've had my share of encounters with immature and/or rude players, and I really appreciate the company of people who understand that I have a life and responsibilites outside the game and can't/won't be online at all hours. I was lucky enough to find such a guild in WoW (funnily enough, we're called 'The Elders'), but it'd be nice not to have to start looking all over again with every new game I pick up.

I'm female, 33, married and live in Scotland with my husband and three cats. I still play RPGs on a weekly basis and keep thinking that my work-life balance could do with some adjusting.

When you get a chance can you drop by our Fallen Earth forum and post in our Post Here If Interested in Fallen Earth sticky listing your toons. It helps those ingame to track down new members to invite them...and also enables us to have a reasonably accurate idea of how many toggers are interested in Fallen Earth.
