[DONE] Applying for Membership

Hello my username is C64gamer. I am (re) married and have two children, 18 and 16. Both think they are the world as most teenagers usually think. Got to love them though.

I use to work in telecommunications, but got rifted so I am currently unemployed and looking for work. I live in New York.

My first game system (console)was a atrari 2600 then I quickly moved on to a commodore 64 (I have no shame) and to me at that time it was pure fun. I played my first RPG game when I turned 13: Advanced Dungoens and Dragons. I played ADnD and other RPG’s for over twenty years straight, but groups got harder to meet with. Then PC games became popular and well that was that.

My first online game experience was ulitma online and then everquest (evercrack). I had lots of fun with those though ulitma was too pvp for me. I prefer a community type of atmosphere, not get the lone elf on a stick approach.

Right now I am sort of in-between games. I had to cancel most of my game accounts, but I am holding out for another good one or two (Oh gods three!). So far I am beta testing Star Trek Online (WOW in space……..), I had not made a decision to commit to that one. I tried Fallen Earth and Aion, but both games turned out to be too dry for me, those accounts will be ending shortly. So I hope to meet players for Star Trek online if it turns out to better than what the beta testing is offering. So far there are way too many bugs to say anything good or bad now about STO.

I hope to meet more Older gamers who can talk about the good ol’times of gaming when pencil, paper, and a good imagination was all that was needed. More importantly I want to join a respected community of like minded and mature players.

I hope my membership gets approved so I can too be an older gamer. I am looking forward to your response.
