Hey guys

When I saw the TOG server I thought, "Man I have to join those guys" and I guessed right about what you guys were about. There's clearly a need for this sort of community.

I'm currently playing a lot of TF2 which is really my first serious foray into Multi player online gaming as such. I'm looking at getting BF:BC2 when that comes out. My 30s housemate keeps trying to convince me to get COD:MW2 but I prefer BF series vehicles and the destructible environments look good.

My first gaming machine was a Vic20 and the games such as Defender where on tape. "Press play to run" etc. I can remember my friends and I printing out the source code for a text adventure game at school and taking it home to type it in and play it at home. File sharing with paper! I wouldn't run but we could decipher the code enough to complete the game.

I want be in TOG to be in a community of like minded gamers who know what fun is and can have a sense of humour. there's a lot of intense little kids out there. Games should be fun.

I know what you mean about MW2 and BFBC2, and although I was a massive fan of COD4, I just can't bring myself to go in for MW2. We've got a good group of players eagerly awaiting the beta for BFBC2 and release
