Hey there folks,

Hi folks,

Just stumbled upon TOG a few days ago as I was starting out on Runes of Magic, and looking for a guild. I can't remember what search query I used, but I was looking for a solid group of mature players, and TOG popped up to the top. Guess that's destiny, eh?

I'm a lifelong gamer, and am 38. Sounds like the opening to a support group! But seriously, I got my start on a C64. My favs were MULE, ELITE, Bard's Tale, Colonial Conquest, Bruce Lee. Really so much more, but need I bore you?

In college I picked up a MacSE and played Dark Castle, Robosport, SimCity. My roomie had a PC and I was able to play the big game - Civilization. Also in college I discovered MUDs. Man, did my GPA go down!

Fastforwarding a bit...

Despite my nature, I'm married, have young kids, and couldn't be more happy about it. Sometimes I frustrate myself that I like to game so much and I have to work to keep life in balance. Nothing is more disappointing than when I realize I'm agitated with my daughter because she's interrupting my game. For that reason I mostly game after bedtime. I play Xbox Live (mostly COD MW2 right now), and I love MMO's.

Left WoW 4 years ago. Loved that game but the money was really too much. I played EQ, AC, AC2, SWG, CoH, Anarchy Online each when they were the thing. I was very active running communities in those games. I currently play Atlantica Online (for over a year). I just started Runes of Magic this weekend. I'm a convert to FTP just because I honestly can't justify adding subscription games to my budget. It's not that I think it's a bad value, I just would rather put it to something for my family.

I play in the Atlantic time zone (EST +1 or GMT-4). I speak fluent Spanish and a little Russian.

I like Calibri 9 pt font for some strange reason. I prefer red over white and Corona over domestic. I don't have an iPhone, but I covet those who do. I hate my blackberry, but don't take it away from me. Gmail is cool, but there are some things about it that infuriates me.

I lead music at my church. Conservatives think I'm a liberal and Liberals think I'm a conservative. I drive too fast but get mad at reckless drivers. I'm a hypocrite. I'm a little .

Well here I am, hope to meet you all soon!
