[DONE] Membership Application

Hallo everyone,

as you can probably guess (from all kinds of indicators), i want to join TOG as a full member. But first i should tell you something about myself:

I'm 27 and currently living in Bonn, Germany and my first language is German - so please excuse me for my not entirely perfect English.

Gaming History: My first "gaming system" was an Amiga 500. Then i moved to the PC and stayed there (never bought a console). I've played a lot of games of all genres (too many to list them here) - but the games i played for a longer time period and more intensively were Starcraft, Starfleet Command II and Guild Wars. I have also played the tabletop wargame Starfleet Battles and the pen and paper RPGs "Das Schwarze Auge" (a german fantasy RPG), Shadowrun and several World of Darkness based games.

So why do i want to join you. I have only played once in a larger gaming group and that was in the fleet STOC for Starfleet Command I/II. They were a mature group and fun to play with (though i had to stop playing, cause i had trouble paying my internet bills as a student - Internet was expensive back then in Germany). Since then i have only played with some RL friends. Most of them stopped playing or are playing different games than me now. So I'm looking for a group to play Star Trek Online and maybe Guild Wars with (though i have not played the latter much lately).

On weekdays I usually play in the evening and not for very long (1-2 hours) but on weekends i'm more flexible. I'm more of a casual gamer, since my free time is very limited - i'm working on my phd thesis in mathematics and have teaching obligations (which sadly means that my time is even more limited during the semester) - but i assume that this is not a problem for you - RL after all is more important than gaming, right?
