Happy to be here, I like what I've seen so far and I hope I may have found a long-term home with TOG. I've been a gamer for a long time, starting with the old red box/blue box Dungeons and Dragons. Lots of computer games over the years; anyone remember Thexder on the Coco? All the Sierra Quest games, Ultima (non-MMO,) all the Wing Commanders; WC3/4 were just awesome games for their time.

Nowadays I'm mostly an MMO player; single player games don't really do it for me anymore, I like the social and competitive aspects. Currently the main game I'm playing is Fallen Earth with WoW on the back burner; kinda burned out on that one at the moment. I've played a number of different MMOs over time, but WoW and EVE the most; I suspect I'll stick with Fallen Earth for quite a while, the atmosphere, crafting, and aimed targeting all resonate well with me. It's the anti-WoW; no quick travel, all crafted gear. The targeting is really enjoyable for me, if EVE had offered some sort of fighter class where you flew with a joystick I'd still be playing that. Jumpgate Evolution looks promising.

I'm 38, about to turn 39. I have a beautiful wife, five kids from 14 down to almost 2, and a busy life. Hopefully I'll fit in pretty well here.
