well i consider myself to of played through what some see as golden ages of games, starting out on Apple II's and the odd C64. and by golden age, it frequently seems that as you look back some period was better for some reason or another than what there is now. nostalgia or what ever you call it, it is real and something which seems harder and harder to capture with each new game title that slips though play time


Sad to say that my first owned console is a Wii, though that doesn't mean i didn't spend any time on 2600's S/NES and Mega Drive. i still remember desperately wanting a combo megadrive 486 machine that sat tantalising on the shelf in Grace Bros for a while in the early 90's.

in and out of PC gaming from the early 90's on. I spent a few year nursing a community LAN from 8 players to 60+ regular bodies to contend with.

now i like to tinker more than play fanatically, mainly strategy titles but not averse to the instant gratification of a FPS now and then
