New Member appling for full membership
Hi! My name is Alan Hovis. I am 42 years old and a long time gamer (Think Atari & Pong).
I started gaming when I was 13 in D&D Pen and Paper back when Advanced D&D was coming out. My group quickly moved to Advanced D&D. My first Gaming Console was the Atari. I owned Pong, Asteroids and Centipede. When I became a senior in High School I purchased my first Computer, a Commodore 64. I played Ultima 1 and wrote games in Basic. In college I purchased a Hewlet Packard. It's 30mb Hard Drive seemed Huge! I played many of the AD&D classics like Pool of Radiance. I played EQ 1 when it came out on the Fennin Ro Server (I was best known as Raaker a Vah Shir Shaman). I was in the Guild Chivalrous Valor and also an activer raider in The Planar Campaign. These days I am playing LoTRO. I found out about the forum here as I am wanting to get my 65th Minstrel (Alanion) into The Osgiliath Guard on Elendilmir. In addition I think this is an awesome forum to move forward into new gaming arenas. I have website administration skills and know a bit of Graphics and programming so I would be glad to assist with any of those duties as our relationship progresses. I look forward to joining your community! |
